We offer safe shelter, three meals a day, clean clothing, Biblical counseling, financial planning, vocational training, GED/education and employment assistance. Averaging 130 women & children at nights.
The Victory program
Durham Rescue Mission’s 12-month recovery program
12-month recovery program designed to provide holistic restoration for addicted men and women. Through addiction counseling and more, return to the workforce and contribute to society once again.
SAFE SHELTER IN SEVERE WEATHER
OPERATION WARM & COLD FOR MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN
During winter months and the summer months, the Durham Rescue Mission launches “Operation Warm Shelter” for winter weather and “Operation Cool Shelter” for Summertime. Call Us if you know of anyone in need of shelter.
Getting Involved
We have numerous ways to support the cause.
The Durham Rescue Mission welcomes donations at our thrift stores in Durham, Raleigh, Wake Forest and Chapel Hill, as well as our additional drop-off locations at the Men’s Campus and Good Samaritan Inn (Women’s & Children’s Division). Donations are tax deductible and all proceeds will go to benefit the Durham Rescue Mission’s ministry of helping the hungry and homeless of the Triangle area.
